Semua bermula dari ruang intim di balik lensa kamera: kegemaran mendokumentasikan sepeda, yang kemudian menuntun pada hobi mendengarkan narasi personal dari sang pemilik mengenai tunggangannya. Berangkat dari sana, media ini lahir untuk mengeksplorasi filosofi metal and rubber (logam dan karet) : dua material dengan karakteristik kontradiktif, tetapi berfungsi saling komplementer.
Dualisme tersebut turut mewakili berbagai perspektif yang kerap berseberangan di jalanan, namun mereka tetap berbagi satu poros komunal yang sama, yaitu gairah bersepeda. Lewat lensa dan cerita, kami hadir merekam detak jantung subkultur ini dalam ruang persilangan antara visual dan cerita.

(It all started in that intimate space behind the camera lens a simple love for documenting bicycles, which naturally grew into a passion for hearing the personal stories from the riders themselves. That’s how this media was born: to explore the philosophy of metal and rubber. They’re two materials with completely opposite traits, yet they complement each other perfectly.
This dualism also represents the different, often clashing perspectives we see on the streets. Yet, everyone shares the same common hub: a passion for cycling. Through lenses and stories, we’re here to capture the heartbeat of this subculture, right at the intersection of visuals and storytelling.
